Description
This painting is layers and layers of watercolor stabilized by clear acrylic spray! This floral image is being called forth from dense layers of colored pigment and to emerge as 3D. Beautiful hues set off the values from light to dark. I wrote this description of my Minnesota Dandylion painting.... Seen on the periphery almost out of sight, this fragile blossom is ready to take flight. While contrast in light goes dark and deep, new life will come again after a long winter's sleep. Great deep abstract background and limited color sets off this flower.
