Description
As Four Clucks (hens) are visiting this Minnesota watering dish, they appear to be saying - You are new here. Do you want a drink of water? Come join us at the watering dish.
My watercolor painting depicts a colorful selection of fowl or poultry, enjoying their warm chicken coop home with sunbeams streaming in. There is a wonderful wide variety of values in this painting which showcases the chickens up close. Your attention might wander through the image, but the hens in front do retain your interest as they look back at you with their wide open eyes.

10/15/2017 Four Clucks, was chosen as 2nd Place in the NorthStar Watermedia Juried National Exhibition, Blaine, MN. A Wonderful money award - I am so pleased!
Four Clucks was accepted into the Red River Watercolor Society 23rd Annual National Watermedia Exhibition 5/17-9/4/16
Four Clucks has been accepted into the Minnesota Sate Fair Juried Fine Art Exhibition 2015. It is a great honor and learned this painting had received the Best Watercolor- Northstar Watermedia Society Award.
11/14/2015 Received the Award of Excellence, Northern Showcase Exhibition - Artist del Norte Art Group.
