Description

Hope you enjoy this floral display of pansies! It is set off beautifully in the sunshine, radiating color with prisms of light originating from the crystal vase. Dark shadows allow for the tender, fragile, yellow petals to be back lit. A layer of pastel colored watercolor, adding luminous glowing color to the petals is especially noticed in the shadows. This image warms my heart and making me happy! It is also an award winner.

This painting received a Merit Award at the NorthStar Watermedia Society Annual Member Exhibition, Mahtomedi, Minnesota. The reception was April 20, 2017

Smiling floral faces are in front of you - from these lovely pansies. The water reflects - in the clear glass dish and a crystal bowl. Darkness behind. Sunshine and shadow on display also. I hope you have a smile on you now.
