Description
I designed and painted a mama bear, fur shining in the sunshine, on an outing with her little cubs. She is on guard keeping track of any predators and hunting for supper. The cubs are kept close and the sky, river and collaged grasses add interest.
Just across the highway from us in Little Falls, MN is our local zoo, Pine Grove Park and Zoo with bears. A jump start fund raiser started the process of becoming a wonderful new zoo. I had made a series of bear watercolor paintings, one of which, was used for a raffle prize. Now it is time to display here where you can see them.
