I Just came upon my floral vase of sunflowers! What a colorful design! Red, orange and yellow is wove into this abstract grouping of purple and blue and green leaves too.. Note the energy, the variety of color, and the abstractness calling to you. Hope you can take a closer look also... and enjoy the delight!

It is magical, this subtle addition of pastel colors. My eye moves from the upper right corner, through the shadowed flowers, and revels in the glorious colors in and around the vase. It is so powerful, like a cannon firing this bouquet. I think the addition of the pastel colors makes even the elegant center colors on the flower farthest right... unified and elevated. I got the bug to work with this piece some more. Pastel colors were added to the background to soften and enhance the lighting and Darks were enhanced, and now I am pleased!. This piece is slated for a spring professional group art exhibit.
