My references reflect Minnesota scenes of winter flower foliage, when we are all longing for color again, instead of white.

Happy News to share with you! Received news that at March Reception at the Jaques Art Center, Aitkin, MN in the 16th Annual Juried Art Show .....my painting received a 2nd Place Award from the judge! Nice money award too. We were sequestered at home so chatting is now per internet..

Just sharing! This joyful painting was just accepted into a juried show in Minnesota ( 3/13 - 5/2/2020) and it will grace their walls for a two month long show in March at the Jaques Art Center, Aitkin, MN. Since we live in a state with snow and cold that lasts for a long period of time, I appreciate opportunities to add color and light to describe scenes I can see in my head and heart.
