Description
I took up the challenge to paint a scene with the painting going off the page on all four sides, yet retaining 60% of the white paper. I felt good about the results, as this painting retains freshness and a feel of the suns reflection and warmth on the water at that moment in time. The egrets add a feeling of patience to this moment of time when the sky and lake reflects as if on fire.

This image of egrets and the shore is lovely. I am hoping more folks get to see it's beauty and charm. I painted this scene with the watercolor painting going off the page on all four sides. But it still retained 60% of the white paper background. Works nice!

Thank you, Carolyn. The relationship of painting to this size was a demo artist moving thru and challenging us to new formats. He challenged us to 60% being the white of the paper and paint must touch and go off on all 4 sides.
