Description
This simplified cloud landscape painting was done in layers. Leaving the white of the paper alone describes the bold wonderfulness of light. Then the greyed neutral colors of diluted watercolor pigment are laid down. Progressively, the images get darker to describe the nearness, the mass and the bulk of the shapes. I really enjoyed the construction and the appeal of describing my surroundings in this way.
