Description
I was inspired to paint this historic old brick building, close to my home which caught my eye. The afternoon colors glowed on the house. It turned out to become a wonderful memory for me of our local century home.
This Dewey Radke house was built in 1893 with locally made yellow bricks from a factory outside of town. All the kitchen facilities screamed " antique" from the ice box to the dry sink. It had a decorative porch that wrapped around the edge of the building. A bean pot and a bean pot hole allowed the family to make homemade beans outside in the ground. The house was located near Pine Grove Park, Little Falls, MN Over time, it fell into great disrepair and was leveled several years ago.
