FrameWorks is proud to present the six week show, "Path of Light," featuring the "Ten Brushes" artists who are a group of women who paint in watermedia and through meetings and critiques they challenge and encourage each other towards artistic growth.
Over the past several months the women set a goal to create paintings that depict a "Path of Light" either literally or figuratively.
I am one of ten artists and our Ten Brushes members are: Lisa Fertig, Barbara Duffy, Patty Healy, Marilyn Jacobson, Barbara Parisien, Kathy Braud, Deb Magglessen, Wendy Westlake, Leny Wendel, Heidi Nelson.

Our new show is coming up soon with my critique group "10 Brushes" of 10 women and is being held at FrameWorks, Highland park, St. Paul.
It will feature paintings with a Path of Light.
I will post an event blurb soon.
I worked with a path of light on this piece also. Wonderful texture was created with drips and sprays of water and the use of gauze. Using different kinds of watercolor paper for the paintings also can help me challenge myself as I find they all react differently.
