A unique invite
Last summer I was reviewing the mnartists.org opportunities and came upon this one in Rochester. I applied for Fall / Winter but they liked and wanted my work instead for Spring / Summer 2013.

Söntés Spring/Summer Gallery Exhibition 2013
March 25 – September 14, 2013
Opening Reception Sunday, April 14, 2013 2 pm – 5 pm
Meet twelve regional artists.
Downtown Rochester, MN

I think this is a great way to see how today’s art can update a building and connect people.
Söntés is a large fine dining restaurant located in downtown Rochester about 1.5 blocks from the Mayo Clinic. International & USA travelers, businessmen, Mayo Clinic professionals and Rochester residents enjoy the facility. Also meetings are held there for organizations. There is lots of great comfortable seating.
Perhaps you would like to see this historic space and enjoy the reception?

I will have 7 pieces on display and was asked to bring an additional 4 back-up paintings.
A brochure advertises the reception.
Söntés is usually closed on Sunday, so the whole place will be open to the reception festivities and viewing of the art.

Check the internet for more info, address and directions. It is easy to find off the freeway.
I really would like to move this invite around so people who might like to come would be aware of the festivity. I would love folks who desire art to come too. Wouldn’t that be a treat!
