The Minnesota Watercolor Society is having their Fall Show, "Finding Minnesota" exhibit Sept 30 - Nov 2, 2012. The awards reception is planned for Thursday evening 6 - 8:30 pm with the awards at 7 pm.
My submission is Taking a Break 2..... a local river scene. This is one of my Path of Light paintings.
The exhibit will be open to the public during office hours at the Christ Church Lutheran, 3244 34th Ave. S Mpls, MN

Crossing Arts Alliance - Across the Decades Community Art Exhibit

The exhibit is on display from Oct 7 - 26, 2012 in the Q Gallery, Rm 222, at the Franklin Art Center, 1001 Kingwood St., Brainerd, MN.
Open to the public T - F, 10 - 4 or by appointment, and October 13, 10 am - 2 pm.

I attended the Phil Mattson Concert held on Sunday afternoon, Oct 7, - a great jazz concert with master vocalists.
A reception followed the concert and showcased the 2D and 3D artwork on display, a silent auction, and celebrated the great talents of people originating from the Brainerd area. We enjoyed food, wine and lots of great talk with many musicians, artists and art admirers.

I have "Still Life Apples and Oranges" on display - a watercolor and gouache painting.
