Today, I am examimining my watercolor digital art images to see if they have the necessary sharpness for making prints. The painting is crisper on the edges now and I have added new tags to the description so it can be found in etherworld. Hope you enjoy!

It's almost time to turn our paintings in to the Juried 2011 Minnesota State Fair Fine Art Exhibit.

This chicken painting is my choice for this year's submission and it will still have to pass the test yet of the judge jurying the choices within the watercolor cathegory. I chose this painting because it is very strong in values, has a variety of shapes, has color relationships, and can be seen from a long distance away.

In the past, I have been a successful entrant and find that it is so fun to have art on display for anyone in the whole state to see when they visit the Fine Art Building. The display offers great lighting on the paintings and, to those who enter here, the building offers shade and coolness.

I have learned how to tag my paintings so the FAA and Google search engines can find my paintings and have spent time this week updating my FAA site information. Thank you for your patience.
