Title
Feedmill in Blue and Green
Artist
Kathy Braud
Medium
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
Description
This collection of industrial buildings in central Minnesota was painted abstractly in a limited color family. Designed with a weird tilted position on the paper that disguises the notion of up and down, the directional planes and lines zoom off the paper. Gorgeous lights and shadows of color set off this colorful commercial landscape. Did you notice the pigeon birds making a presence on the roof?

I am sharing a feeling of abstraction here -.in a gutsy and unique way of describing the feedmill. It is also a nice way to get a blue and green image on your wall!

Thanks Laurel, It was an off course type of painting, and nothing was straight - as in vertical. I also liked the colors I chose to describe the building..

Absolutely fabulous!!! I love, love this! I did a feed mill in Pueblo at a tilt, also, so wonder why feed mills lend themselves so beautifully to that approach! This is awesome! v/f!!
Kathy Braud replied:
Oh Lenore, that is so nice to hear.... and Maybe they list at a tilt because they are so big and usually so old......
